PADD Updates (last for a while!): Managing Channels and Feeds

Updates have been coming fast lately with PADD but that's just a function of the fact that everyone on the #IndieWeb seems to be obsessed with documentation. The wiki itself is a testament to that. I can almost always read a spec and translate that directly into features.

That's what led to today's update, in fact!

Manage Channels

Next to channels and at the bottom of the sidebar you'll spot some new buttons. These allow you to manage existing channels or add new channels.

Manage Feeds

One of the actions on a channel you can take (besides "Rename" and "Delete") is "Manage Feeds". This feature let's you add and remove feeds from a channel.

Manage Posts

When you're viewing a channel you will now likely see a little "x" in the upper right-hand corner. This button allows you to remove a post from a feed.

Other stuff?

There's likely a lot of other stuff I both fixed and broke along the way. I can't remember them all. If you see something new or something that doesn't look quite right I'd love to hear about it.

Where next?

At this point I wouldn't say that PADD is done, but I would say that it's full-featured enough for me to slow down and start the hard work of bug fixing and UI/UX polishing. Those are (for me) the parts that USED to stop me from releasing anything. Lucky for you, I am trying to stop letting perfection get in the way of progress!

So, where next? Likely I'll be returning my attention to my Microsub server that's still coming along nicely 👀 😏
