I run this site as a personal blog. I try to keep data collection minimal and transparent. This page explains what information is collected, why it’s collected, and how it’s used.

What I Collect

When you visit the site, my server automatically logs some basic request info:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device info (user agent)
  • Pages you visit
  • Referrer (if any)
  • Timestamps
  • Response status codes

This is standard server-log data used by most websites.

If you create an account, log in, or leave comments, I may store:

  • Your username or email (whatever you provide)
  • Session information so you stay logged in
  • Any content you submit

Why I Collect This

I use this data only for:

  • Keeping the site running
  • Preventing abuse and troubleshooting issues
  • Understanding which posts get traffic
  • Improving overall performance
  • I don’t do advertising, tracking across other sites, or profiling.

Cookies

The site uses essential cookies so things like logins and sessions work. I don’t use marketing cookies or analytics cookies that track you across the web.

How Long I Keep Data

Server logs and visit records are kept for a short period and deleted when they’re no longer needed. User accounts and comments are kept until you delete them.

Who Has Access?

Just me.

I don’t sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
